Summer camp is currently full for all age groups. However, we have a waiting list for Mini Camp (children who have just completed 1st or 2nd grade). If you would like your child to be placed on this list, you may fill out an application, available here:

Sherwood Forest transforms lives through camp experiences! We are committed to providing the highest quality camp experiences for children and adolescents from diverse racial, ethnic, socio-economic, and religious backgrounds. The diversity of our campers and staff help make Sherwood Forest a place where all children can feel welcomed, recognized, and respected.
A child who starts attending Sherwood Forest Camp at the age of seven has the opportunity to “grow up” with us for the next ten years. Each camp program is geared to campers’ abilities, interests, needs, and skill development.
Swimming, canoeing, performing and creative arts, caving, hiking, climbing our Tango Tower, cooking, and camping out are just a few of the exciting activities campers do while at camp. Campers are encouraged to accept responsibility for themselves, consider others’ perspectives, and make decisions about their own schedules.
Sending your child to camp is an important decision. All parents want their children to participate in programs that are fun, challenging and most importantly, safe. Parents also want their children to grow as individuals, while learning how to be good team players, respecting and appreciating diversity, and understanding the importance of being honest and responsible. Please know that your child is our highest priority while he/she is in our care. For more information about sending your child to camp for the first time, you may want to refer to the American Camp Association's Resources for Parents or this parent handbook.
