Missouri Tax Credits enable you to give twice as much with less out-of-pocket cost!
For a donation of $1,000 or more, you can receive a 50% Missouri State Tax credit against any Missouri taxes you owe. Combined with normal federal and state charitable deductions*, you could receive up to 75% back on your donation.
Without tax credits, a donation of $5,000 can send five children to camp for a life changing experience. But, for no additional cost to you, double that gift to $10,000, take advantage of the tax credit, and transform the lives of ten disadvantaged children in the St. Louis Region.

Any individual or company with Missouri tax liability who makes a contribution of $1,000 or more to Sherwood Forest Camp is eligible to receive the tax credits.
How do you receive this benefit?
The process is easy. Make a contribution to SFC valued at $1,000 or more (donate on-line now). Gifts can be in cash, credit card, or through the transfer of stocks. SFC will provide you with a simple application, which you complete and return to us with a copy of the canceled check, credit card statement, or transfer letter. We then submit the application to the state for you. The state will send you a tax credit certificate which you submit with your next income tax return.
